This is one of the most frequent question we get asked when discussing a new bathroom so we thought we’d best dive straight in.
The cost will depend on a few factors including what kind of units you are choosing, are they budget or high end units, the kinds of tiles you want and the work that’s involved with. You can spend as little or as much as you’d like on your bathroom so the cost is really dependent on your personal preference and budget. We cater for most budgets and we’ll be able to give you a better idea once we have discussed with you what it is you’re looking for.
After the cost of a new bathroom, this is usually the next question that comes up, and rightly so. You want to know how long you’re going to be without a toilet and a shower!
On average our bathrooms take 7-10 working days to install (2 weeks) but if you’ve got a particularly intricate style you’re trying to achieve such as tile patterns it could take us a few days longer. When we come to quote we’ll be able to give you a more accurate timescale.
Yes and no. The first thing we’ll be removing when we renovate your bathroom is the bath and shower so you’ll have to arrange an alternative solution. Some people will use a family members shower and some even join the gym for a few weeks and use the facilities there. There are also companies that hire outside shower and toilet cabins.
For the toilet we try and remove this as late as possible so that you’ll still be able to use it during the evenings until we’re back the next day.
Either way works for us. Some people prefer to source their own units, tiles and accessories for us to install and then we can supply any further materials that are required to complete your bathroom renovation. This may include new plaster boards, adhesives and other materials required.
We’re always working in other peoples homes so we fully respect that things must be left the same way we found them, except for your bathroom of course. On each job we will lay down dust sheets across all flooring and carpets and our team will where covers on their feet where needed.
During your bathroom installation there will be dust and dirt flying around due to removing your old bathroom and wall tiles but we always clean up after ourselves during and once the job is complete.
If you do have any specific requirements or requests which will help keep your home clean please speak with us before we begin so we can accommodate them where possible.
Complete the survey above or give us a call and we’ll arrange a time that we can visit your home. We can then discuss your ideas and the process involved. This will include whether you will be supplying your own bathroom units and tiles or you would like us to recommend some and then supply them.
We’ll usually be able to give you a rough estimate of what your bathroom ideas will cost during the visit but with all the information and measurements we’ll take them away and come back to you with an accurate quotation.
